Welcome to Justin!

Justin was born from a personal need to find a way to seek help and remind ourselves that life is beautiful. Especially during those times when we need reassurance.

Life has its high and low points. When we are at our lowest it is good to be reminded that we aren’t alone, we are loved and that the darkness will pass.

In the spirit of privacy, that Justin stands for, we don’t think it is necessary to tell the world our personal stories to explain why we are doing this. Our own Helping Hand know the reasons and we are respectfully going to keep it that way.

Helping you and those you love

We have created Justin because we believe it is something that will help us and those that we love. Our Helping Hand’s encouragement and belief in Justin has driven us to this point; making this a reality and not just an idea.

We have a wish list of Mental Health professionals we have asked to advise and contribute. The list and their support grows daily. We see a future where Justin is a tool used by Industry professionals to speak to their clients at the crucial time their reassuring support is needed (a pre recorded message never seen before available at 3am for example).

A tool to help us all

We have done our best to make Justin non-specific. We hope this tool will help us all through life’s hurdles. Regardless of their size and severity. We aren’t the golden ticket to solve every problem. We do hope that Justin encourages people to simply acknowledge they need help, communicate and reassure us that we are not alone.

We have found that there doesn’t seem to be anything like Justin available. There are lots of wonderful apps that put us in chat rooms with others in similar situations. These are great. Yet there is nothing that let’s your intimate support group know when you really need their help.

Life is a marathon

Let’s use the analogy that life is a marathon and the road is not always flat.

We have moments where life is running smoothly, times when it is great and then there are those times where it is all seems too hard & we want to quit. Now imagine at that lonely moment, a helping hand appeared. Your closest friend, the relative you confide in, a comrade suffering the same internal battle, your therapist and very importantly, the positive version of yourself. All cheering you on with love and support. Giving you the incentive to pass through the pain, anguish, self-doubt & isolation. Encouraging you to keep going, to keep breathing and moving forward one step at a time. Reminding you why you are still in the race.

Aye,

Adam & Jonas.
